Umar Bin Khaddabi College of Nursing Sciences was established in November, 2020 as approved by Nursing and Midwife Council of Nigeria (NMCN) after the recommendation of its Accreditation Committee that visited the College in October, 2020 with initial provisional Approval of Fifty (50) Students.
The College is a Faith School under the auspices of Umar Bin Khaddabi Development Foundation Kaura Namoda Zamfara State, Nigeria.
The College started its first admission with General Nursing Students in November, 2020 with sixty six (66) students and then Basic Midwifery Students in March, 2021 with forty Nine (49) Students.
In July 2021 the NMCN granted approval for the College to operate two streams in each year for the two programs i.e. in May and November for General Nursing while Basic Midwifery in March and September.
The College has Hospital known as Umar bin Khaddabi Hospital located at Yarima Quarters Sabon Gari Kaura Namoda, with fifty (50) bed capacities.

There are six (6) numbers of Proprietors who’s contributed for the establishment of the College, though the college is a faith School, but do financial commitment they have contributed base on the following shares and percentage:
